Project 2025’s educational blueprint enshrines racial essentialism and white Christian white nationalist ideology—presenting “merit,” “neutrality,” and Protestant heritage as immutable benchmarks for belonging while erasing multicultural histories. Threads of Legacy is a multidisciplinary project of ATEP 2025 that uses fashion to teach culture, reclaim history, and creative resistance. Through textile design, graphic art, and interactive technology, the project addresses the lasting effects of slavery, colonialism, and white supremacy while reclaiming stolen African and African American history and diasporic memory.
